1. WEBSITE MANAGER

This website is managed by BALANTIA ENERGY SOLUTIONS & TECHNOLOGIES, S.L.U., with Tax ID number B57732539, a company domiciled at Plaça Porta Pintada, 3A, Floor 9, 07002, Palma de Mallorca – Balearic Islands, registered in the Mercantile Registry of Palma de Mallorca, in volume 2480, folio 4, page PM-68582, entry 1 (hereinafter, ‘BALANTIA’).

2. MOTIVATION

BALANTIA respects the privacy rights of its Users and recognises the importance of protecting the personal data that the entity collects about its Users.

The purpose of this document is to inform Users about the processing of personal data carried out on this website.

3. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY SIMPLY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE

3.1 What data is processed

By simply accessing the website, BALANTIA collects the IP address and other data relating to the connection and its origin.

The IP address is a code that identifies the User's internet connection at a specific time.

Only the User's internet service provider can identify the subscriber who was assigned an IP address at a specific time.

Due to the nature of the server that supports the website, the User's IP address is automatically recorded along with the date and time of access.

3.2 What this data is used for

This data is used solely to manage the normal use of the website and to perform statistical analyses on its use.

3.3 Destinatarios de los datos

BALANTIA does not provide this information to any third party, unless it is required to do so by current legislation (e.g. an official request in the context of a police investigation).

3.4 Lawful processing

The legal basis that legitimises the processing of the IP address is the technological necessity to enable the provision of the website.

3.5 Data processing period

IP addresses will be kept for a period of 1 month.

4. WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE USER HAVE AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM

Data protection regulations guarantee Users the following rights:

  • Access: Allows the User to know what information is held, where it was obtained, to whom it has been provided and how it has been used.
  • Rectification: Allows the User to rectify any erroneous or outdated data.
  • Erasure: Allows Users to have their data stopped being processed.
  • Objection: Allows Users to have their data stopped being used for a specific purpose.
  • Restriction: Allows Users to restrict the processing of their data, but in such a way that it is retained for a later purpose.
  • Portability: Allows the User to obtain a copy of their data in electronic format and, in certain circumstances, to request that it be communicated to another service provider. This only applies to computerised processing carried out with the User's consent or for the performance of a contract.
  • Withdrawal of consent: Allows the User to withdraw any consent they may have given for the processing of their data.

These rights require the possibility of identifying the User requesting them and linking their identity to the data processed by the entity.

However, BALANTIA cannot establish this link with any of the data it processes simply by accessing the website, unless the User can provide certain documentation that allows their identification (for example, a certificate from their Internet service provider indicating the IP address assigned to the User on a specific date and time).

Users are informed that they may exercise the aforementioned rights before BALANTIA, as well as revoke their consent for any processing they may have given, by post to the above address or by email to protecciondatos@balantia.com

If Users wish to obtain further information on this matter or consider that their right to data protection has been violated, they may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es)
